Fabulous Console or Entry Table depicting a Chambered Nautilus Sea Shell

Solid Wood base is spray finished in a tri-coat Cadillac automotive Pearl White finish which consists of a white base coat, a mid-coat of clear paint infused with genuine crushed pearl opalescence and a top-coat of urethane clear. (I purchased this table new in 1988 and had it professionally refinished in the Cadillac Pearl automotive paint). The finish does glimmer like an actual sea shell and the protective clear coat enhances the crushed pearl opalescence!

The oval glass top is 5/8" thick glass that has a 7/8'' wide beveled edge and a finished edge thickness of a 1/2''.
The glass top is anchored to the base with a round brass knob that screws into the top of the base thru a drilled hole in the middle of the glass top.
Drilled hole has some chips around it on the bottom side of the glass that are covered by the anchoring round brass knob and are not visible (see 2nd to last photo).
