Blue Slate aggregates are a very popular flat, angular and natural slate. It is nearly grey when dry, however when wet it is mainly blue with purple and grey tones. Ideal for use on paths, flowerbeds and as ground cover and can also be used for decorating water features, ponds, rockeries and is fish friendly.
Approx. 40mm in size.
The Welsh blue colour is great for adding a subtle touch of colour without the risk of stealing the show.
They are best laid 5 - 6 cm deep, and the chips may vary from 15mm to 50mm.
Slate chippings are also available in Plum, Green and Charcoal.
These decorative aggregates are a natural
product. There may be other colours such as green or plum mixed in with
these chipping, and there are strips of other colours through the chippings,
adding a unique decorative look.
*Please note these are a natural product and slight colour variations may happen with different batches so try to order what is needed at the same time.
*As these are a natural product bagged at the quarry they may have a coating of processing dust / silt that can be washed off to show the true colour.
