  • It was published in the 89th edition of Rand McNally Commercial Atlas and Marketing Guide, Chicago, 1958, and it is lithographed in color on a heavyweight paper.


  • It labels railroads, counties, cities, towns, and natural features, with a place-name index in the left margin.


  • The coverage area extends from the Oregon border to Carmel Valley and Mt. McKinley. There's an inset of San Francisco and vicinity.
