A small monument to one of the Netherlands' most famous illustrators Fiep Westendorp. The Jewish Historical Museum in Amsterdam has brought together a number of her magnificent drawings to make a house in the form of a book. In each room of the house, you can also find poems, stories and recipes by Annie M.G.Schmidt and Han G. Hoekstra. Playfully assembled, the house aims to build bridges by welcoming children from different backgrounds. An accompanying CD includes a classic Dutch children's song Dikkertje Dap,' performed in four different languages.
