HELIOTROPE
The HELIOTROPE coating consists of a metallic finish applied to a crystal surface using water. A very thin metallic particle sheen is adhered to the glass resulting in a significant enhancement to the crystal's overall brilliance and dramatic color changes. HELIOTROPE first made its introduction in the mid fifties, after the SWAROVSKI® company made important advances in crystal production. By experimenting with the manufacturing processes by coating crystals with extremely thin layers of metal in a vacuum, they were able to increase the sparkling power of the crystal.

SWAROVSKI® Elements; Beads and Pendants
Often imitated but never equaled, SWAROVSKI®  offers the world‘s most brilliant and perfect loose crystal. Cutting edge technology brings the ultimate level of brilliance with the broadest light distribution and most intense luminosity – far ahead of competition. Beads or Pendants from the SWAROVSKI®  crystals assortment have a crystal clear hole that creates even more brilliance and color intensity. In addition, the rounded edges at the hole entry and exit facilitate the application and protect the thread and support the longevity of the designed piece.

SWAROVSKI®  crystals are man-made gems manufactured in Austria. In 1892, Daniel Swarovski   invented a machine for making precision-cut, beautiful, high quality lead glass crystals using quartz, sand, and minerals.  The exact proportions of these raw materials has remained a company secret.   This specialized manufacturing process ensures the highest possible degree of precision which produces brilliant crystals.
SWAROVSKI® uses only the finest materials to fashion faceted lead glass that is known around the world for its brilliance and value. Superior production, materials, cutting, and polishing are what set SWAROVSKI® crystals apart from other glass works.
