Basic Description: ref: fotoriflessiva.blogspot.com/2011/11/mansfield-holiday-zoom-ee-1962.html
The American brand Mansfield, based in Chicago, began its activity in the immediate aftermath of the Second World War, importing in the United States and reselling under its own name Japanese-made cameras, cameras and cine-projectors.

The important turning point came in 1962, with the purchase of the glorious Argus, burdened by financial problems. The company managers decided to take advantage of the much more established name Argus and thus transformed Mansfield into a subsidiary of Argus although the opposite was true.

Produced from 1962 to 1965, the MANSFIELD HOLIDAY ZOOM EE was a very advanced camera for its time.

Made inherently in solid metal, it was carefully finished with chromed inserts that enhanced its appearance.

The operation was completely mechanical, in fact the loading of the motor was manual, of the spring type, and also the exposure meter was of the selenium type, i.e. activated by solar energy and therefore independent of the use of batteries.

Shooting could be started and stopped at any time simply by acting on a lever, or by mounting the so-called "pistol handle" and acting on the relative trigger.

These are the main characteristics:
- Camera body entirely made of metal alloy
- Zoom lens with "Mansfield Cinepar" lens and maximum aperture f / 1.8
- Spring motor with manual winding
- Light meter with selenium cell
- Shot with Galilean viewfinder
- Thread for tripod mounting
- "Pistol" handle for easier grip when shooting.
Standard speed and single frame exposure.
