NOTE: Photos have changed as we have redone the laser engraved Bolt and Timber Ends to align properly (Prototypically) with the Fastrack ties. Look for new auctions listing our NEW curved (20R and 27R) crossings and ramps. Laser cut Crossings may or may not be wrapped by a small wooden frame. This frame is a cosmetic attachment to make packaging easier. It's inclusion really depends on our ability to acquire basswood in a size to allow the program to the laser to fit and cut properly. If the crossing pieces are loose the quality remains the same with no loss of detail or size or fit. Note, this crossing fits any S gauge straight track.  It's use is not limited to Fastrack applications, any S standard gauge trackage is OK

Laser Cut/Engraved Wood Plank Railroad Grade Crossing kit (MRGS-8100R) this is the crossing only, ramps are a separate kit (MRGS-8100Ramp) now available, see other auction and additional photos. Straight. Cut planks, engraved nail/bolt detail. Specifically designed for LIONEL(R) S American Flyer Fastrack. However, should fit any similar "S" Gauge (1:64 or 3/16 scale) 2 rail track straight section with 0.148" rail height. 4.6" long or 25.5 scale ft. Wide enough for two traffic lanes. Shims included to raise center to track bolt level and position top boards below rails so not to obstruct power pickup (wheel contact), care must be used to insure shims are on the ties and not up on the tie plates or spikes.   NOTE: Wording on shim in the photo is for information in this listing, listed product as shipped will only have arrow and NO wording.

These parts are precision cut on a Laser to match the tie spacing and track gauge specified.  If you do not understand some part of our instructions or have questions on installation, appearance, installation or final finishing (staining or painting) please contact us for assistance.  We ONLY will accept a return request if something has been misrepresented and the product is in the original packaging (re-saleable).  Once you have OPENED the packaged and used the product (attempted to install or modified the product) we cannot accept a return. If you have a problem we will make every effort to assist you in solving it, but you must tell us so we can.

Stain or color to your choice or leave natural when installed. See photos of installations.  Covers ties and provides an edge to stop scenery, road surface without fouling track. Installs easily with any type of glue, following instruction on header card. You must add ramps (see our NEW product listing for these) or other scenic road way to each side of the crossing. 

These crossings may be used in any S Scale Standard Gauge (Narrow Gauge to follow) application, the crossing is laser cut to clear wheel flanges and may be use with any rail from .090 to .148+ in height. Shim provided (0.040) will provide a total crossing height of 0.130+ and clear any rolling stock operated on 0.148 rail. Use the crossing itself with any thickness shim for other rail height from 0.090 up. For scale code 100 rail, just don't use the shims. Bottom edges of crossing may need to be sanded back to clear spikes and tie plates.

Material provided makes one (1) grade crossing (single track) with 2 roadway (auto) lanes. We make other S scale crossings, ramps and O Scale crossings for the LIONEL (R) Fastrack system and ramps for all. Custom work can be done for special installations.
