TINE Gudbrandsdalsost is the original Norwegian brown cheese, also known as just G35, with a history dating back to 1863. The cheese is made from a mixture of cow and goat milk. The taste is round, full-bodied and caramel-like.

Norway’s national cheese

Most Norwegians eat the brown cheese on their sandwiches, cut into thin slices by using a cheese slicer, (another Norwegian invention). However, the cheese can also be used on crispbread and waffles, (very nice with strawberry or raspberry jam as well), and as an ingredient in e.g. brownie, sauces and stews, and is the perfect topping for oatmeal.

Why not add a cheese slicer?

I also sell a cheese slicer, perfect for this cheese. You find it in my eBay store for only $6.99!

We ship almost worldwide. Please note that no tracking number is available for shipped orders, all are sent by unregistered letter. I have shipped 3000+ caviar tubes and other food items to 30+ different countries and only experienced a few problems with shipments to Mexico, Brazil, Israel, Ukraine and Saudi Arabia.

The cheese survives shipping, but should be stored cold in the fridge after arrival for best taste. The "best before" date is about 5-6 months from day of shipping, but if stored cold, it can be enjoyed long after that.

This is a dairy product and it is buyers responsibility to check that you are allowed to import food items to your country.
