The original GameBoy Color does not have any lighting to the screen, making it difficult to play, even in the best lighting conditions. It also relies on AA batteries. This modification allows you to play your favorite Original GameBoy or GameBoy Color games for hours on a bright, vibrant screen!
IPS screens have higher pixel density compared to the original screen with brighter, more vibrant colors and a wider viewing range without screen tearing. This laminated screen mod is full size (compared to the reduced size of a TFT mod) with 15 brightness levels 8 preset color palettes, 4 pixel options, and frame blending option, easily adjusted by touch sensors on the top of the console or with button controls.
The optional 18000mAh Li-Ion battery modification lasts about 12 hours and can be charged using the magnetic charge (included) or USB-C cable.
