Part of the fantastic Sony FH-15R portable component system. Released during the 1980’s. 

Can be used as a standalone amplifier to play records or listen to CD's for example, or as a spare of replacement for your FH-15R system.

It's nice and compact so could be used as a desktop amplifier for use with a computer for example or plug your phone into it via its headphone socket.

TA-158 integrated Amplifier: Features 7 band graphic equalizer (63hz, 150hz, 400hz, 1khz, 3khz, 6khz, 14khz), balance, Phono, CD, (Tuner & tape inputs via ribbon cable), headphone socket & LED 7 band spectrum analyser and microphone input with level control.

Line in for CD/AUX & MM phono (record player input).  Speaker outputs 6-16 ohms. 

It also has a line out so you could use it as a pre amp to drive a power amplifier for example.

Worldwide voltage selection 110-120/220-240 volt ac, Made in Japan.
