For sale is a vinyl record by Doris Day titled "Bright & Shiny", originally released in 1961 by Columbia Records. This is the original first pressing with the six CBS logos, three on each side of the center hole, that look like "Eyes" around the edges of the labels. These records are sought out for their excellent sound quality. I bought this records used and immediately put the record into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. I always put my new records directly into a protective inner sleeve(s), thus preserving the integrity of the insert(s) and the original inner sleeve(s). There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. Inside the dead wax, between the last tracks and the labels is etched the matrix numbers 1-F/1-F indicating that early stampers were used to make this record. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint, still shiny and bright, in a like-new condition, without any surface scratches, smudges, scuffs or spindle marks on the labels. I'm play grading this album as Near Mint with just an occasional pop on Side Two, but without any surface noise, lock-ups or skips from start to finish.  The cover is graded as Near Mint. The spine is Near Mint. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I bought it and still has a lot of life yet. This is the best copy of this very rare album that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find another original 5-Eye Columbia record like this one. This would make a great addition to a anyone's collection. I have other Pop albums, as well as records of all different genres, listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing.
I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
