About Dang Shen
Codonopsis pilosula also known as dang shen or poor man's ginseng, is a perennial species of flowering plant in the bellflower family. It is native to China, where it grows in forests, meadows, and scrub.
The roots of C. pilosula are carrot-shaped or cylindrical, sometimes branched, and up to 30 centimeters long by 3 wide.They are a constituent of Radix Codonopsis, an herbal mix used to improve appetite and energy.
Dangshen has feature of enhance immunity, dilate blood vessels, reduce blood press, improve microcirculation, strengthen the hematopoietic function, and so on.
Brewing Guide
Chop Dang shen root as around 1cm  Slices. Scoop 1 spoon (about 3~5g) and threw into tea cup , it's better to add rock candy and wolfberry. (Gouqi) , pour boiled water and steep about 3~5 minutes then serve.
