British Glass Eyes Medium Topaz with straight loop 

Our traditional glass eyes have been handmade to a high quality in England with stainless steel hoops for inserting into collectable teddy bears, vintage teddy bear repairs, needle felting and art dolls. 

The hoops on the back of the eyes have been flattened to enable the clip to be squeezed together after the securing thread has been attached. This makes as small as possible profile to the clip creating no damage to the weave when the eye is fitted to the bear head. 

The eyes are available as a single pair (2 eyes) or pack of 5 pairs (10 single eyes in total). 

The eyes come in different sizes and the size relates to the diameter of the eye. So, for instance, the 4mm eyes measure 4mm from one edge of the eye across to the the opposite edge. The 6mm eyes measure 6mm across and so on. The eyes are available in the following sizes:

• 4mm
• 6mm
• 8mm
• 10mm
• 12mm
• 14mm 

PLEASE NOTE:  Because these eyes have been hand crafted, the sizes can slightly vary (& pupils slightly vary too). However, we always match the pairs of eyes before sending them to you. We always aim to send out 5 pairs of the same size but the size can vary slightly from pack to pack (eg a 6mm pack could be 6.2mm or 5.9mm etc). 

These eyes also work well in Fimo creations and, because they are made from glass, withstand the heat of an oven. 

PLEASE NOTE:  Glass eyes are not ‘safety eyes’ and are not intended for use in toys for children. We do, however, sell safety eyes too.
