The Nitty

You're looking at a brand new limited edition Montegrappa Liberty Lapis Fountain Pen in a Medium Nib.

The Montegrappa Liberty series pays homage to precious materials found all over the United States. This limited edition series draws inspiration from the Great Basin Desert of the midwest to the Lapis Lazuli mines of California. Crafted entirely out of celluloid and sterling silver accents, the Liberty series is an Italian-made United States treasure. The pen is complete with an 18-karat-gold nib, sterling silver trim, and a sterling silver pocket clip, which has a rotating wheel at the end that allows it to slide easily into your pocket.

***IMPORTANT NOTE***
By agreeing to purchase this pen, you are agreeing that you have read the below notes about the condition of the pen.

The pen does have tarnishing on the sterling silver exposed portions from being stored. You will see yellowing on the bands, and the pen will require polishing to restore it to its original silver color. The unexposed grip portion from the cap is still the original silver color. You may also leave it unpolished, which I personally think goes nicely with the pen body colors to give it a warmer aesthetic.

I will be listing quite a few fountain pens over time, as I go through my collection to get rid of ones that I will never end up using.

The Gritty

Even if a pen is brand new - some pens have been dip tested by the manufacturer/pen maker/store purchased from/etc. This means that there may be residual ink from that, and the pen is still new and was not used by me. That means no ink touched beyond the nib and feed from the dip testing.

This comes from a non-smoking and dog-friendly home. However, the dogs are not allowed upstairs where my pens are stored.

I do NOT accept returns due to the nature of the items. If you have ANY doubts, concerns, or questions - PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE ask them BEFORE YOU PURCHASE!

If you are purchasing a vintage pen, please be aware that I am NOT a vintage pen expert. Please view the photos CAREFULLY, so you're sure of what you're purchasing. I do some research to list them properly, but I am not an expert, so I CANNOT guarantee that the listing is 100% accurate.
