Rough and unpolished piece of Boulder Opal with velvet covered bottom to prevent surfaces being scratched and with provision for a Silver plate to be attached at the top.

The plate is sculptured in such a way that veins of Opal to runs from the front of the piece and into it are exposed within the fjord styled cut outs in the plate.

The Sterling Silver plate is loose, but once engraved can then permanently be attached to the Boulder Opal with adhesive or simply left plain with no engraving.

The Opal combined with the Sterling Silver plate provides for many potential usages; as a Trophy, in memory of an event, paper weight, as an ornament at home or a fair dinkum Aussie present to someone overseas...

It is potentially the perfect gift for that someone who has everything... something unique... something not found in your local jewellery store...

We do not import, promote or sell Synthetic or Man Made Opal, nor any non-Australian mined Opal.

On 27 July, 1993, The Australian Government proclaimed Opal as the National Gemstone of Australia!
