DSLR Camera T-Ring and 1.25" T-adapter Set for Telescopes with 1.25" Eyepiece Holder / Focuser


This DSLR camera adapter set can be used to connect your DSLR camera to telescopes with standard 1.25" internal eyepiece holder (focuser) diameter. You connect one end of this adapter (with a camera T-ring) to your camera's body (without camera lens), and insert the other end of the adapter barrel into the telescope's 1.25" focuser. You can then take pictures through the telescope.

  • There are M28.5x0.75mm internal threads at the end of the 1.25" tube for the connection of light filters or compact Barlow lens (see Note 2 below). 


Note:
 

(1) For Sony DSLR cameras, there are two type of lens mount, one is Sony A-mount lens, (eg. Sony Alpha models), the other is Sony E-mount lens (eg. Sony NEX cameras). Please indicate your camera model with your order.


(2) Sometimes when a DSLR camera is connected to a telescope with the camera lens being removed, the image cannot be focused on the camera's viewfinder. This is often because the image focus point is shifted beyond the focus adjustment range of the telescope. In this case, a special compact Barlow lens can be attached to the end of the 1.25" tube section. This compact lens enables the cameras to get a focused image through a wide range of telescopes. The compact Barlow lens is available from this store as an optional accessory.
