A Mini bench grinder with a flexible drive shaft which when assembled is an ideal bench mounted kit for
polishing jewellery ie gold, silver, platinum, chrome and nickel plated items.

This kit includes a Quick Change Adapter which screws (anti-clockwise) on to the end of the bench grinder shaft in place of the nut.
It allows for a quick change of polishing wheels.
Safety Glasses must be worn as the bench grinder safety shield does not fully cover the adapter & polishing wheel.

Assembly - Supplied as a Bench Grinder with an Add-on Polishing Kit which the buyer needs to assemble, to convert the 
bench grinder to a polishing machine. 

Tools Required (not included) to change the polishing wheels on the left hand side of the machine only.

No Load Variable Speed: +/- 100 to 9900 RPM

Please Note - the Motor will Run Hot. This is normal. The Run Time (duty cycle) is 10 minutes on, allow to cool, then continue. Do Not Push Hard against the polishing wheels. This will strain or damage the motor, invalidating the warranty. Using Light Pressure with the correct polishing procedures will get satisfactory results. 

Warranty (Important please read)
The Buyer needs to register the machine (not the polishing accessories) with the manufacturer (Toolstream) within 30 Days of receipt for a 3 year warranty. 
If not registered within 30 Days, then a 30 Day Only Warranty is offered.

Surface Scratches - Scratch Removal - If there are scratches in the item being polished a series of wet and dry abrasive paper / discs etc may have to be used first to remove the scratches prior to the polishing phases. DO NOT use abrasives on Chrome or Nickel plated items as this may permanently damage their surfaces. Use abrasives on gold with extreme care as gold is very soft.

Safety - Safety Goggles / Glasses , Gloves and Dust Masks (not supplied) must be used when using this kit.
Always polish in a position with the polishing wheels etc spinning away from you and not towards you.
