Motorcycles have long been a staple of American culture for generations. The Indian Motorcycle Company
manufactured motorcycles out of Springfield, Massachusetts from 1901-1953. The 1940 Indian four was
the first bike to feature a plunger rear suspension. From 1915-1929, Cleveland Motorcycle Company
assembled motorcycles. The 1918 Cleveland was popular due to its lightweight and affordability.
It was said this bike could travel up to 75 miles on a single tank. A chopper is a type of motorcycle
that is built from scratch or a modified design of another bike.
