Beautiful and vintage 1700's ORIGINAL Italian Engraving of a group of elegantly dressed men and women socializing in a game of cards and a little more with Italian inscription beneath.  Do not read or speak language but translated loosely about beautiful women and love.  Artwork made by Bartolomeo Crivellari with Intermediary draughtsman Sebastiano Gamma after Niccolo dell'Abate on thick paper (Parchment like).  We have four of these please look for other listings soon all the engravings are similar but slightly different scenes.  These are difficult to find they are in private collections or museums and not readily available under general searches.  This engraving is in the British Museum who states it was produced between 1740-1768.   

The engraving was purchased from an estate who left note wrapped within stating engraving(s) came from Italy with grandfather about 1895.  Measures 22x16" overall with image 12.5 x 9".  It appears to have been framed at one time and has been rolled for extended period.  We will ship it flat.  Condition is acceptable to good the edges have wear and tears with portion of top missing and creasing including one in middle.  But still would look great re-framed.  Zoom in on pics as part of description.  Ask questions please as we are not professional art dealers.  This is a fantastic rare artwork ready for framing.  If you enjoy antique engravings, Italy or music this is for you.  We ship fast and FREE!  Contact us any questions we try our best.
