For your consideration is a lovely fossil bivalve shell opal from Coober Pedy, Australia.  Unlike most shell fossil opals, this one is thick and clay-free.  Perfect for a one-of-a-kind designer pendant!  This one features bright (3/5) red  multicolors.   Freeform cut with a medium dome to retain the shell shape, it weighs 4.5 carats.  measures mm long by mm wide by 4mm deep. Very clean with no cracks, crazing, or clay. There is a miniscule white potch inclusion visable in the photos. And a small void on the back edge.. As ever, this is an untreated and 100% ALL-Natural gemstone.
