Very rare Saint Laurent Rive Gauche runway piece from the mid 1980s. It was acquired many years ago by the shop I used to manage. The previous owner was a regular at the Paris shows and would purchase items straight from the shows. It is authentic and you can find other pieces with similar provenance on another luxury site (leprix, I am not affiliated or selling any items on said site). The hats are of the same era with same numbered tags and no labels.

Fine black sinamay straw with plaited faded purple(originally blue)straw trim and black ribbon ties.
There are some unfortunate breaks that come with age and one or two careless employees. Nevertheless, this is a rare find for a collector or artist.
Please bear in mind that my mannequin has a small head-however I loved how the exaggerated crown size looked wonderfully absurd.
