Whimsies on Why is a series of miniature porcelain houses. Based upon a mythical English village called Houses-On -Why. The detail is beautiful on this pair of selective Salt and Pepper. The detail being highly accurate, the salt being the "Greengrocers' shop is indeed accurate as the Greengrocers shop in the House On Why. The pepper being the Butcher's shop.
Both identities of these Wade collectables where in "The Wade collectables by the Charlton price guide."
I will say they are both in good Collectable condition. And would make an excellent addition to any Wade collectable.
