Description:  A very nice copy of the Sixth Sooty Annual, which was for 1962. British children's annuals are intended to be given as Christmas presents, and are conventionally dated for the following year, so this book was published late in 1961. Original full colour laminated pictorial boards. 11 inches by 8.75 inches.  

A very attractive example, clean and bright, with some flaking of the laminate near the spine as usual (see pictures). Internally clean and bright, with the dot-to-dot puzzle completed in light pencil but otherwise free of inscriptions (see pictures). Original 5/- price to title page. The Sooty Annuals were beautifully produced, with many full colour stories. An unusually nice example.
