 Overview:

Here is our very popular, simple, super low cost, and highly effective solution to enhancing signal reception on ANY portable. A 25ft portable, covered copper wire shortwave antenna. It can be used on the deck or in the field, at the beach, the picnic, the campground, the condo, the boat, anywhere! It also serves nicely as an indoor antenna to use in your home, apartment, or HOA.

   A few years back, Our customers asked for a simple, low cost solution to improve/enhance the reception on their portable receivers. The telescopic antennas and the wind ups just werent cutting it, and they did not want to spend a fortune. I did something about it, and this portable antenna became, and remains one of our most popular and acclaimed items. 

The beauty of this antenna is it's versatality, stealthiness, and performance!

A value add, is that this antenna will also clip onto the antenna connectors of desktop Shortwave receivers with antenna screws and/or telescopic antennas, and serve as an indoor antenna.

You plug the 3.5mm end into your antenna jack on your radio, or, if you don't have an antenna jack, you clip the other end onto your telescopic antenna, and experience a significant increase in Shortwave reception.

  I Guarantee reception improvement over the standard telescopic antenna and the wind up antennas !

 You can hang the wire out a window, along the floor, ceiling, deck to deck, deck to tree branch, fence, the combinations are endless. And, at the end of the day, you unplug it, wrap it up and put it away for next time.  Have fun experimenting and DX chasing by running the wire straight, angled, in a loop, a slope etc..  It's Simple. It’s Effective. 

Simply hook this up to ANY shortwave radio, Portable or Desktop, ANYWHERE,  indoors or out and get great reception over a telescopic.

 

The Antenna :

 The antenna consists of:

•  25' high quality, beefy 16g easy to handle, coated copper wire  (The Antenna)
•  HD 3.5mm plug (plugs antenna into the portable radio antenna jack on one end of the wire.)
•  Quick clip alligator clip for connection at opposite end of the wire. (clips onto your radio's telescoping antenna, and/or back of set antenna lug). 
• Includes easy to follow instructions and SWL listening tips.

I can adapt this antenna to work with any radio by providing the necessary plugs, connectors, and adapters. ie: pl259 into so239 Adapters, SMA, F, RCA, Motorola etc etc...  Just let me know what you need BEFORE purchasing so I can put together a custom pkg for you.

I have been fascinated and involved with the Radio and Communications Hobby since 1966. AM Broadcast Band, Ham Radio, Shortwave, VHF, UHF and even CB 11 Meters. Radio played a big part in staying off the streets and out of trouble when I was a kid, and I still enjoy SWL'ing in my senior years. It's a unique hobby and sets one apart.  You will always be up to date on Current Events, and you will enjoy logging stations, collecting QSL Cards from around the world, and tracking your progress
