This listing is for "unassembled" bee hive frames built to be used in a Mini-Nuc

 (Not included).  A Mini-Nuc can be used for the following:

• creating queens
• storing queens
• making splits
• many other uses subject only to the beekeepers imagination

We sell our frames in lots of 10.  You will receive for each order of one (1) quantity:

•          10 beveled top bars (See Pictures)
•          10 bottom bars (no Groove)
•          20 end bars (deeps will have pre-drilled wiring holes)

Why Foundationless

Foundationless beekeeping is more natural and allows the bees to tailor the size of the comb to the need of the hive.  The wax created from scratch will be cleaner than any other foundation on the market.  The resulting lack of chemical wax contamination will result in healthier bees and longer lasting queens.

Why not just stick a popsicle stick in the groove in the top bar. 

•          Popsicle sticks break.  When they break you might as well throw the frame away.
•          The groove that is left unfilled is a good hiding place for hive beetles.
•          The one-piece solid top bar is easier to clean (This is why I switched).
•          The bees tend to follow the sloped or beveled top bar better.

Why Us

•          We use state-of-art-equipment to make smooth high precision cuts.
•          We only use select grade wood.
•          We guarantee our frames will fit any standard Langstroth hive box.
•          Our frames work with any un-capper.
•          Joints will be stapled and glued.
•          Our bottom boards are “not” grooved.  Bottom boards without grooves are stronger and hive beetles cannot hide on our flat surface.
•          Our deep end bars have 4 pre-drilled holes for wiring to provide extra strength.

Note:  Once you have successfully used the beveled beehive frames, you will never go back to plastic, somebody’s else’s wax or makeshift modified top bars again.
