A selection of spare parts for a Parker 25 fountain pen available to buy individually.  All plastic parts and the clips are for blue trim pens.  Nibs and steel parts are suitable for other trims.  The parts are from used pens and may show a little wear, but are fully functional.

There are two types of barrels - those with steel threads and those with brass threads.  The steel thread were fitted on flat top pen (Mark I) made in 1975 and brass threads on dimple top pens (Marks II, III & IV), although either will fit all Marks.

All inner caps are dimpled tops.  If you want a flat top please contact me and I will see if I have any and give you a price.

Please note that the barrels and caps are only suitable for fountain pens.

The parts will be sent in appropriate packaging (recycled where possible) by Royal Mail 2nd Class Post within 2 working days of receipt of payment.   I do combine postage on multiple purchases.   If you are making multiple purchases please put your items in your basket and then check out.  

Fitting a Clip

Push out the inner cap from the cap shell by using a blunt tool (I use a blunt wood lolly stick) push down on the coloured disk visible on the top of the cap.  The inner cap is held in place by friction.  Then clean the inside of the cap shell.   Make sure the new clip is in the right position and push the inner cap into the cap shell.  The flat side of the inner cap top must be positioned to line up with the back of the clip as the inner cap holds the clip in position

Nibs / Removing a nib

Please note that some 25 nibs come with breather hole in the stainless steel nib.  These are full interchangeable with the non-breather hole type and perform exactly the same.

Replacing Inner cap

Normally required if cap will not click into place or if clip is loose.   Please note that inner caps come without metal caps or clips.  It is assumed that you will use these parts from your existing pen.

Caps

Please note that caps come without clips or the plastic inner as it is assumed that you will reuse your parts.  I also have complete caps for sale in different colours with flat to ridge tops - see my other listings.
