A Lucky Sixpence to give to a Bride on her Wedding Day

It is tradition for a sixpence to be worn in the brides left shoe, on her Wedding Day. It is said to give a lifetime of health and happiness.

Wording on gift card (slightly different to picture) says

"A lucky Sixpence

Place this sixpence in your left shoe

for a lifetime of health and happiness"

The sixpence can be given as a keepsake gift, or it can be carefully removed from the clear wallet, so it can be placed into the Brides shoe

This is a genuine sixpence, dated from 1947-1967, it has been cleaned and gentle polished.
