The Alabama Crimson Tide football program has been blessed with two legendary coaches: Bear Bryant and Nick Saban. Together they have won 12 national championships and 22 Southeastern Conference (SEC) titles.
The Crimson Tide under Coach Bryant won its six titles between 1961 and 1979. He also coached 44 All-Americans during his 25-year tenure.
Coach Saban’s 15 years as Alabama’s coach has seen the team again win six national championships, with 41 players being named All-Americans. Two of those 41 players were also winners of the Heisman Trophy — Mark Ingram in 2009 and Derrick Henry in 2015.
