An original print by the US artist Scott Listfield, untitled "Shelter", showing some arctic animals taking shelter in the shadow of a rock in a desert. Scott Listfield is known for his paintings featuring a lone exploratory astronaut lost in a landscape cluttered with pop culture icons, corporate logos, and tongue-in-cheek science fiction references. Scott grew up in Boston and studied art at Dartmouth College. After some time spent living abroad, Scott returned to America and, after watching 2001: A Space Odyssey for the first time, began painting astronauts and, sometimes, dinosaurs. He now lives and works in Los Angeles.
This rare print measuring 16 x 20 inches (40.6 x 50.8 cm) forms part of a limited edition of 50, and comes signed and numbered (n°6) by the artist - see pictures for better impression.
Scott Listfield did not issue a certificate of authenticity for this particular print.
In excellent condition, the print has been carefully stored. It will be extremely well packed using craft paper and a rigid cardboard tube, to ensure a safe transit.

Une œuvre originale réalisée par l'artiste américain Scott Listfield, intitulée "Shelter", et montrant des animaux du Pôle Nord se réfugiant à l'ombre d'un rocher dans le désert. Scott Listfield est connu pour ses peintures mettant en scène un explorateur en tenue astronaute, perdu dans des paysages faisant figurer des icônes de la culture pop, logos d’entreprise, et des références de science-fiction. Scott a grandi à Boston et a étudié l’art au Dartmouth College. Après un certain temps passé à l’étranger, il est retourné en Amérique et après avoir regardé 2001 : A Space Odyssey pour la première fois, a commencé à peindre des astronautes et, parfois, des dinosaures. Il vit et travaille à Los Angeles.
Cette œuvre mesurant 16 x 20 inches (40.6 x 50.8 cm) fait partie d'une édition limitée à 50 exemplaires. Elle est signée numérotée (n°6) par la main de l'artiste - voir photos de l'annonce.
Scott Listfield n'a pas édité de certificat d'authenticité pour cette œuvre en particulier.
En excellent état, elle a été stockée avec le plus grand soin. Elle sera très bien emballée à l'aide de papier craft et d'un tube rigide cartonné, pour assurer un transport optimal.
