On offer is a beautiful 14 white carat gold bar brooch with rose gold accents in classic Art Deco style set with an oval aquamarine and a small pearl either side. The gold is stamped 14 carat which was introduced as a UK standard in 1932 and I would expect the brooch to date to around this period. The pearls are real and probably cultured. Lovely quality and with an ingenious safety clip to secure the pin. There is no box.

Markings: stamped 14ct at the back along with an inscribed set of retailers marks.

Approximate Size: the bar is 54mm (2.1") long. The aquamarine measures approximately 7.5x5mm oval and the pearls are 2.5mm in diameter. The penny is shown for size comparison. Gross weight 3.5 grams.

Condition: the bar brooch is in excellent vintage condition with light wear to the surface. The pearls look to be original and the aquamarine has a couple of light scratches but no real problems. It is slightly loose in the setting but the claws are secure and it is perfectly safe.
