Designed/made by the qualified carpenter and for the real tradesman,

we are not like those profit driven people who don't look after our fellow workers,

it either solves the problem, or goes into the rubbish bin.

1x Custom made Ryobi 18v LED work light, light only, not with batteries. (Please ignore my battery adaptor to convert the milwaukee battery to Ryobi, this light simply fits your ryobi battery, with the same latch mechanism as the original Ryobi design)

-Fact 1, 2nd generation.  Upgraded the base to abs+, head to 18 LED head. The result is

  1. now the light can withstand hot Aussie summer (no joke, try a product from the competitor and put it on the dashcam and see what happens). Yes, logically you won't need a light when there's strong sunlight, but I'm personally uncomfortable if this is not fixed.
  2. More vivid color of the base. Yes I thought no one cares about the color until one day a builder told me my milwaukee light was a bit orangeish, that's the color for AEG, not Milwaukee. OK, he's right, I fixed now the Milwaukee red will NEVER fade.
  3. Bigger head is 15% brighter than previous version, which is hard to tell, the point is, the beam is also wider. I personally feels it's being more like a 'work light' this way versus previous version which is more inclined to a 'torch' way. New head weighs lighter making it more stable when sitting on uneven surface.

-Fact 2, over specs materials.  We only use at least abs+, thick gauge copper metal pin and thick gauge springs, etc. We work from framing to lockup to fixing everywhere here in Melbourne day in day out. We earn average $50 an hour, same with you. I can't afford using an incomplete product that slows myself down or even fails once or twice, I also won't embarrass myself by bringing this to you. For same reason, I don't care if I can save some penny dollars by using inferior materials, I have decent income from doing decent carpentry jobs. So with this, you can rely on it, just chuck it anywhere, and do what you are good at.

-Fact 3, Locally made,,, or maybe not? Interestingly, you'll find most competitor sellers claim their products are made locally. While I used to indeed make them locally, at the corner of my partner's factor (as the discharge from printing isn't pleasant to smell), I later outsourced the component printing to a local commercial service provider, couldn't be happier. As the machine used are now all commercial grade, much nicer finish, shorter lead time and better precision on the final components. The result is, lower cost, better products. Hence I'm not interested to act like a so called true local craftsman like others do, I only utilize the best resource to let you get the best bang on your money.

-Fact 4, Made by the tradesman, for the tradesmen It's not just a merchandise for me to make money... It's a tool for you and me to add productivity and enable us win on the sites. The mindset is different, I care about your needs as they are also my needs so you can trust most aspects you would look at as a work person are all taken care of. These are engineered to work and have undergo so many test/development iterations..

-Fact 5, Zero risk in using. In fact, the easiest way for me to launch these product is to do the right thing. These lights were literally made a while ago, only used by myself for at least 3 months before put up here... I told all my work mates to use it as hard as they wish, dirt, rain, hot summer, as long as they don't worry wreck their own battery :), go as hard as it can be. I did ruled out MANY suppliers for the LED head, and what's available now is the best I can find...

-1 year worry free warranty. A worry free warranty should be worry free, by that we mean in case the product did fail in any sense we'll fix it for you. Typically the easiest way is after you providing some photos, we'll send you a new replacement at $0 cost. Yes, simple as that, as after all, a good product shouldn't fail isn't it. If it's not good enough why not making it good enough?

Now I've launched my own website, www.yourtoolbox.com.au, you could find same products there, sometimes with slightly lower price simply because it saves me some running cost vs. ebay. So again everything here is as straightforward as dealing your fellow worker, not some pure profit seeking vendor...

Disclaimer-  don't know what to say:) because at least for now has made it good enough. Ok, don't baby it, use it as hard as you can and see how fast it pays for itself.
