Presented is an exceptionally well-crafted Tiffany & Co. sterling silver tea and coffee service in a scarce aesthetic design, circa 1875.

  Of the same ovoid body as the Persian set of the 1876 Philadelphia Centennial Exposition and the Saracenic of the 1889 Paris Expoisition Universelle

 The unique Turkish Isnik tile-inspired decoration boasts meticulous craftsmanship incorporating the applique, acid-etching and chasing techniques:

Each body decorated with applied and chased leaves alternating with scrolling sprays The collars acid-etched and chased with stylised foliate borders. The handles and the spouts swirled with applied paterae.
 
Never monogrammed.

Save for a few soft impressions, in excellent condition, looks as if never used.
