Vintage rare discontinued Peony and Rose pattern from Myott, Son & Co. Staffordshire England. Myott, Son & Co was a family-owned business established in 1898 and operated for 93 years. They changed management throughout the years. A fire at the pottery factory destroyed pattern books, which halted re-creation of some patterns.

Myott used different colors in their pottery, as you can see in the pictures. They liked adding orange, yellows and browns to their patterns.

This saucer has a fracture on top and bottom, along with some crackling, peppering, and 3 kiln marks resulting from the firing process.

I couldn't find the exact year of production, but believe it to be during the Art Deco period in the 1930's.

An authentic Myott Son & Co backstamp is on the bottom.
