For anyone who loves shoes and history (two of my favorite things!), the exhibit is an absolute must-see.

While these were originally priced at some $1000 in year 2006-2007 , I closely kept watch until i get them , and worth every penny. I saw them first in Vogue  and knew that I had to get my satin glove covered fingers on them. It certainly takes a bold fashion type to wear them, and someone that wishes to be over 5 inches taller than normal, so a strong center of balance is required.But they are indeed originals and far more beautiful in person that in the picture, which is the consensus of all those that have been around me to see them first hand. They offer an ornately-detailed baroque relief sculpture on the platform, in a classic champagne color, and the ankle and toe straps are black patent leather. Being produced by the famous designer Miu Miu, comfort is at the top of the list for these beauties.
Around the blog sites, they are definitely a love 'em/hate 'em shoe, and having them in my closet, I certainly love them and recommend them to all.

One of my favorite “vintage discoveries” is when I find a piece of DEADSTOCK VINTAGE.It’s like finding a diamond amongst the jewels: I’m already so satisfied with the vintage finds I’m discovering, but then I see a shimmer that truly makes my heart beat faster — a piece of vintage with the original tags.Deadstock vintage are called as such because they have “passed away” [i.e. died] from the original stock where they previously existed [i.e. lived] in a store. The piece of vintage clothing was never sold from that store for whatever reason — perhaps it was a piece of sale clothing that was unbought, or the store/boutique/department store chain fell bankrupt and its remaining inventory found its way to a thrift store or the hands of a vintage boutique owner.
