Die vierte Ausgabe der Wildlife Serie ist einem der berühmtesten Wahrzeichen Australiens gewidmet - dem Känguru. Das Motiv zeigt den Kopf eines Kängurus im Vordergrund und zwei weitere Tiere im Hintergrund, von denen eines ein Jungtier im Beutel trägt. Am unteren Münzrand befindet sich die Aufschrift "KANGAROO". Auf der Rückseite ist das Porträt von Königin Elizabeth II abgebildet. Die Aufschriften "ELIZABETH II", "NIUE 2021", "ONE DOLLAR" sowie Gewicht und Feinheit sind ebenfalls im Design enthalten. Die Münze wurde in brillantem Ultra High Relief aus 1 Unze 99,9% Silber geprägt und anschließend mit einem Antik Finish versehen. Kängurus sind in freier Wildbahn ausschließlich in Australien, auf Tasmanien und in Neuguinea beheimatet. Zu den bekanntesten Vertretern der Art zählen das Rote und das Graue Riesenkänguru. Die Beuteltiere können mithilfe ihrer kräftigen Hinterläufe bis zu 3 m hoch und bis zu 9 m weit springen.
