The amber is a deep honey color, gorgeous, and trimmed with a Mizar tested 16k gold ring at the end. Just at 2 1/4", with a diameter at tip of 5/8". The interior diameter is right about 12mm, for use with smaller to medium cigars or cheroots. Amber is fossilized resin of certain species of ancient extinct trees. This one with its' original sterling silver case or etui, the hallmarks are most likely American and read simply "sterling" & "935" with no silversmith marks that I can see. A lovely piece and one of two that we're adding this week so, be sure to browse some while you're with us. Very good for age and type, it is a beauty, but you can see it has been used and cherished, and while it's been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, it does appear to have a tiny bit of "teeth marking" at the lip. With its original sterling silver case to protect it for roughly a century, the case also in fabulous shape with hardly a sign of dimpling and is fully intact. Case or etui is 2 5/8" long, 7/8" widest. Look for our many cigar-related cases and holders, presenters and humidor, sold separately.

Insurance has been eliminated as an option by ebay, forcing us sellers to either ship your items without insurance or assume that expense also. Our shipping days are Tuesday and Friday, paid items will be shipped on the first shipping day after payment is received (except when special circumstances exist). We prefer to use USPS whenever possible, and require all packages to be insured. If you prefer another method of shipment, please mention it. We charge only actual expense of shipment/insurance, except in the case of larger items which must have special wood crates built. Wood crate charge, when applicable, is a flat $35.00 in addition to actual postage & insurance charges.
