Blank Baseballs cost at least $16 each, the players all charge for their signatures, we get all our balls signed at card shows or signings for money, add the costs of our personal time involved, gas, travel, hotels, risk of losses damages and aging over time etc, and then there is the value of the talent of the player or just how difficult and or rare they sign autographs. A player may not have been very good but may have played on a key team that collectors want.
