Photograph Notes: The Eastern National bus is no.2017 a Guy Arab IV with Massey Bros bodywork dating from 1961 which started life with local independent operator Moore's of Kelvedon. It is one of several similar buses which passed into Eastern National ownership when the Moore family sold the business as the owner was retiring with no family successor. At the time the Moore's business was claimed to be the oldest passenger transport undertaking in the world having commenced as a carrier in 1815. Despite being non-standard in the Eastern National fleet almost exclusively of Bristol make at that time the Guys remained in service well into the 1970s. This view was taken on a bus enthusiasts' tour. Subsequently the bus has survived into preservation.
