The Seychelles 25 Rupees banknote was released in 1998 by the Central Bank of Seychelles. The note is in purple and lilac combinations and has dimensions of 151 x 75 mm. The front side of the note displays a Wrights gardenia flower at the center, and the coat of arms, the map of Seychelles, and a lionfish at the left. The reverse of the note depicts cowrie shells, buildings, and the Bicentennial monument in Victoria. A coconut crab and a blue pigeon bird are also displayed. The banknote carries a windowed security thread with a demetalized CBS. It also has a watermark that reflects a turtle. This particular 25 rupee banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been authenticated.
