The Belize 20 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Belize in 2017. It has a color combination of brown, chestnut, and orange. The note bears the date 1st January 2017, and the signature of Glenford Ysaguirre, Joseph Waight, and Nestor Vasquez. Its obverse side depicts English text, a jade head, a jaguar resting on a branch, schools of queen triggerfish and queen angelfish, the Belize arms, and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing Grand Duchess Vladimir’s tiara and Queen Victoria’s golden jubilee necklace. Its reverse side depicts native animals: a keel-billed toucan, a Baird's tapir, a collared peccary, a fruit bat, a black howler monkey, a Tamanduas anteater, a honey bear, a tayra, a jaguar, and a white-tailed deer. Security features of the note include a windowed security thread with demetalized BELIZE, a Baird's tapir head registration device, and a watermark of the sleeping giant head and electrotype TWENTY. The note is 140 mm x 70. It was printed by De La Rue. It is in uncirculated condition.
