** With regards to the current debate and concern over Palm Oil production ..... 
The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) has issued a list of companies that produce palm oil and scored them each on their over-all environmental impact. They have also set up a Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil.  This organization includes representatives of government and industry involved in palm cultivation. The RSPO was founded to develop and define the best practices for sustainable palm cultivation, and then help member organizations to implement the procedures. Our Palm Wax comes from a company verified by this group. It has been stamped environmentally responsible and non-GM.

 Palm candle wax is an all-natural, renewable resource.  The oil palm produces fruit which is harvested and sent to palm oil mills for extraction, sterilization, and clarification. The crude oil is then refined and  processed further into products such as cooking oil, shortening, cocoa butter substitutes, non-dairy creamers, cosmetic industry products, soaps, and Palm Candle Wax.  About 40% of products in our supermarkets contain some form of Palm Oil.  It is labelled as vegetable oil, sodium lauryl sulphate , sodium dodecyl sulphate, palmate, palm oil kernel and palmitate.
Due to its environmentally friendly attributes, palm wax serves as a viable alternative to petroleum-based parrafin candle wa
