This is a totally cool 1949 Art Deco yet quite retro Inland glass decanter with cork stopper and a black bakelite handle. Handle passes all bakelite tests such as 409, hot water and torching! Handle is very art deco in design with a concentric ribbed design on the outer edge. Has a triple silvered ring around bulbous bottom and silvered glass neck. Cork is in fair condition, May have superficial crack, see pictures/ask questions. Entire piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and barely any signs of age except for it's style. On side it reads "Inland XXX Patent No. DES-160.186 Hand Blown"— under the Bakelite handle on the glass. Has a metal band which hold on the bakelite handle. Measures a little over 12" tall. Circa 1949 based on the design patent which was filed on April 2, 1949. This is so retro, Eames Era with a touch of Art Deco! It has it all! A must have for your retro or art deco bar!
