17th
century.
Louis XIV, sensitive to scents, felt that the aromas of the Palace of
Versailles were, to put it mildly, incompatible with the rank of the
place. He didn't bathe very often, but he wanted to smell good.
1682.
Jean Paul Feminis - the court alchemist of the Sun King with Italian
roots (or rather Giovanni Paolo) - develops a recipe for a new
fragrance - light and fresh.
Beginnings
of the 18th century.
Thanks to the Dominican Order, the manuscript with the perfume recipe
reaches Polish soil. Brothers, with the help of a local plant, start
a small production, partly for their own needs and partly to repair
the budget.
Just
after the war.
After years of oblivion, partitions and wars, a Latin manuscript with
the recipe is found in the PIXIN archives.
1950s.
PRASTARA Eau de Cologne, created on the basis of an age-old recipe,
is winning the hearts and nostrils of Poles. And not only. Apparently
it was also one of the most salable exports.
2023.
Today you are holding another edition of this iconic fragrance. Still
following the original manuscript, we have created a refreshed
version of the unique PRASTARA cologne.
