We are offering this Incredible Antique, Museum Quality, 22K Gold Leaf, Hand Carved, Pierced Baroque style, Framed Mirror, 5 3/4" Wide! It dates from the Late 19th Century and is truly Spectacular. Lustrous and generously applied 22K Gold Leaf enwrap sinuously and profusely hand carved (we did say BAROQUE!!) scallops and swirls (leaves and scroll-like designs). It is a reverse moulding so the dense carving seems to extend itself to the viewer. At the inner edge, the rope-like design stands approx. 2 3/4" Deep! Monumental, in one sense, the piercings lighten the overall feel a bit with some delicacy. There is age appropriate cracking and minor signs of handling.... or the frame has wonderful character and a lovely antique finish. The glass, approx. 23 X 30, is not beveled and has some minor spotting.

Mirror opening measures 22 1/2 X 29 3/4 and is in Good to Very Good condition.

Outside measure of the frame is approx. 34 X 42 and is in Very Good Antique condition.

Piece weighs approx. 45 lbs., before packing.
