Vintage automotive enameled metal rally plaque, 1974, State of Wurttemberg, Germany, organized by the

ADAC (German Auto Club).  Beautiful scrolled artwork with dark-red, green and beige enameling, with ADAC

Wurttemberg and State of Wurttemberg crests (the same crest as known in the Porsche factory crest),

size:  3 1/4" wide,  3 3/4" high.  New condition.

These German made original historic event plaques were ordered in a very limited number by a car club or regional

section oft the ADAC (German Automobile Club, comparable to AAA).  These events included rallies, time trials, 

club meets etc. on a specific date.  The quantities ordered depended on how many participants signed up for a 

specific event, which rarely exceeded a total number of 50.  The design and workmanship of these plaques is 

outstanding and the quality exceeds any car-plaques made today.  Since most of these plaques are now over 40 years 

old, you will find some colors (as the deep royal blue and others), which are not even produced today because of
