This is a large wooden model of the early 404 type Mercedes Benz Unimog with the curved hood and head lamps

in the lower part of the hood.  Closed cab with short pick-up bed.  This Unimog is hand-made in Germany of solid

beech-tree wood in exact proportions to the production trucks.  The built-quality is excellent and the detail work is amazing!

Even the wheels are turning.  The cab shows two individual seats with the shift and 4 wheel drive levers in between the seats.

It even shows the handbrake lever.  Extending from the dash towards the inside of the cab shows the extension of the engine

cover for the 6 cyl. engine.  The fuel tank is mounted below the passenger side of the cab and the compressed air tank is shown

below the driver side cab.  The underside shows details of the muffler system.
