The painting dates approximately to the 1930’s - 1940’s. The lodge is depicted at Christmas, or in the month of December, since multi colored Christmas lights can be seen hanging from the awning. To the left and right of the lodge, flanks of delicately painted trees are visible. This charming and well done Plein Air scene is unsigned, but perhaps you recognize the artist?
