Important compatibility information:
  • The Kinect Camera is only compatible with original XBOX One consoles which contain the special port on the console to plug in the Kinect Camera.
  • For use with XBOX One S & X consoles(which not have a dedicated Kinect port), a XBOX Kinect Adapter is required to be able to use with these consoles(not included).
  • The Kinect Camera is not in any way compatible with newly released XBOX Series S|X consoles.
  • The Kinect camera is compatible with PC Windows, with use of a XBOX Kinect Adapter(not included).

  • With the Kinect Sensor, put down the controller and play Xbox One games using just your body, voice, and gestures. Command your TV and even make Skype calls in HD.

  • Depending on the game or app, you can control your Xbox One using the Kinect via voice commands and gestures or your controller. It is designed to interact with you in multiple ways.

  • To turn off your Xbox One, just say "Xbox Off." This puts Xbox One into standby mode where it's only listening for the voice command, "Xbox On" allowing you to get into the game faster.

  • If you want to set up your Xbox One to watch TV(cable, satellite, or even free over-the-air TV with an antenna and the xbox one tv tuner attachment) you may want a Kinect. The Kinect hardware is used to send infrared (IR) signals to your cable or satellite box, TV, and sound system. This allows your Xbox One to switch between channels, turn your hardware on and off, and control volume levels. The Xbox One essentially functions as a glorified remote control, sending the same IR signals your existing remote control does. You can even control these functions using voice commands which is pretty cool.
