PRODUCT FEATURE

This lens will work with all Leica M Rangefinder cameras, film or digital like M10/M240, most DSLRs cameras as well as mirrorless, such as Canon EOS, Nikon, Olympus, Sony, Pentax, Panasonic 4/3 and Micro 4/3 system, Pentax, etc.  and  cinema/motion camera systems with a proper adapter.

But we make no guarantees about usability of this lens on any system other than Leica R Series Cameras. Please do your own research if you plan to use this lens on non-Leica system.  An improper or cheap adapter may cause extensive damage to the lens.

WARNING:  If you plan to use this lens on your camera, your extra caution is required.  Hold the lens barrel, not FOCUSING RING or APERTURE RING while you try to attach the lens to your camera, or an adapter which is attached to the camera mount. Otherwise, the FOCUSING RING or APERTURE RING might be snapped off or disengaged from the focusing system, resulting in damage. The repair cost for this damage may cost you between $200.00 and $300.00.  Please note that you are responsible for the damage repair if this happens.

The condition of the focusing and aperture rings you have purchased is clearly described as being in working condition when the lens is listed. Then, again we will make a final inspection before we pack a lens for shipping.  

I, as the owner of this store, will personally inspect the lens and certify that the focus and aperture rings are in working condition in our invoice, which will be included in the package.  A video recording showing the proper movement is filed for our reference.   Therefore, we will not accept a return of the lens due to the damage caused by careless handling even though you may claim you have not held the focus ring when attaching the lens to your camera or to an adapter.

If we find out that something is wrong during our final inspection, we will notify you of the fact and may send you a full refund or a replacement with a similar quality if you desire so.

2.  We will offer you a replacement lens with equal or higher value if a buyer prefers to this option.

RETURN POLICY

 The return policy set forth by eBay in 2018 states that certain product categories have unique retail standards, and that seller will be able to offer variations on the new return policy options. Our products are in the category of CAMERAS & PHOTO, and they are included in unique retail standards. Since an item is vintage and previously used, there may be minor discrepancies or oversight in descriptions. We are trying our best to provide you with as much detail as we could.

We only accept a return if an item is significantly different from what is described.

Our return policy does not apply to the following exclusions unless otherwise noted.

1.     When you report to the eBay customer service and claim that the item is received as damaged or defective and request for a full refund.  In the past, most claims have been based on the damage on focusing and/or aperture rings caused by abusive handling.  For us to prevent someone from abusing the return policy, we have added “WARNING” under PRODUCT FEATURE as follows:

“WARNING:  When you are ready to insert the lens into your camera, film or digital, hold the lens barrel (body) and turn the barrel to complete the attachment. DO NOT hold the FOCUSING and/or APERTURE RINGS and force to insert the lens to a camera body or an adapter.

Otherwise, the FOCUSING and/or APERTURE RINGS could be snapped off or disengaged from the mechanism, resulting in damage. The repair cost for this kind of damage is very expensive and it is a buyer’s responsibility for the damage repair if this happens.

The condition of the focusing and aperture rings you have purchased is clearly described as being in properly working condition when the lens is listed. Again, we will make a final inspection before we pack a lens for shipping.  I, the owner of this store, will personally inspect the lens and certify that the focus and aperture rings are in properly working condition in the packing sheet which is included in the package. Therefore, we will not accept a return of the lens due to the damage caused by careless handling. We reserve the right to deduct the estimate repair fee from the total refund. The repair fee may be over $200.00 by a professional repair service.

 2.      When you use an item for any period after you receive the item and then request a return for a full refund, we will charge 10% of your purchase price for restocking service charge.  Free 30 days return does not mean you can use the item for 30 days. A returned item will be strictly checked and inspected to make sure it is not in the original sale condition. We reserve the right to compensation.

3.       When you claim a refund because something you are expecting to receive, which is not actually offered in the original listing. We reserve the right to compensation. We will charge 5% of your purchase price for restocking service charge.

4.       When you simply change your mind and want to cancel the purchase upon receipt of the item.  We will charge 5% of your purchase price for restocking service charge.
