Part of Sacai's ongoing collaboration with Nike, these 'Blazer Low' sneakers feature the artful layering that has become a signature of the Japanese label. With 'British Tan' suede uppers, this pair carries its double-stacked construction from the tongues and leather side 'Swooshes' to the over-wrapped rubber heels.

EnglishThe sacai x Nike Blazer Low ‘British Tan ’ delivers Chitose Abe’s stylized interpretation of Nike’s earliest basketball shoe. The sneaker features an exposed-foam collar that suggests a low-top silhouette created by chopping off the top portion of the collar. The suede upper is appointed with sacai’s doubled-up eyestays, laces, Swooshes and tongues. The latter component is embellished with a pair of woven Nike tags, one featuring Nike Sportswear branding, the other accented with dual Nike and sacai logos. The low-top rides on a fractured white rubber midsole with stacked layers that extend up the sides and heel. Underfoot, a traditional herringbone-tread outsole delivers grippy traction.

One of my favorite “vintage discoveries” is when I find a piece of DEADSTOCK VINTAGE.It’s like finding a diamond amongst the jewels: I’m already so satisfied with the vintage finds I’m discovering, but then I see a shimmer that truly makes my heart beat faster — a piece of vintage with the original tags.Deadstock vintage are called as such because they have “passed away” [i.e. died] from the original stock where they previously existed [i.e. lived] in a store. The piece of vintage clothing was never sold from that store for whatever reason — perhaps it was a piece of sale clothing that was unbought, or the store/boutique/department store chain fell bankrupt and its remaining inventory found its way to a thrift store or the hands of a vintage boutique owner.
